Hello Hello!
Painting is well underway with some really amazing artwork at the site. We’ve been really impressed with the turnout and diversity of styles.
We have decided to stall the project for now so we can get the upper levels clear and more background colours up. Hopefully this will only be a few weeks. The break will also give us a chance to review the space and allow us to direct it closer toward our overall vision.
We would still like people who have begun work, to keep coming in to complete their artwork, but we won’t be allocating or starting any new walls until we can get some more behind the scenes work done, so please let us know if/when you intend to come in and finish.
Its really beginning to look amazing, we’re sure the Condor Tower Car Park will be a huge success for Perth, and hopefully change the social attitude toward street art, if only a little.

We are ecstatic to announce the inclusion of Re-Face in the 2009 Perth International Arts Festival.
Re-Face is one of the inaugural recipients of the iArts grant, made possible by the ABC, ScreenWest and DCA. The project focuses on creating dialogue between traditional art going folk and practitioners of emerging disciplines of street art.
ololo and WBMC are teaming up to bring Perth a 4 night, multi site projection installation on the buildings of the CBD. Works submitted by users through the Re-Face website, and curated by well respected members of the arts community, will be projected on the biggest surfaces we can find!
So start collecting all those photos and get them ready to upload in the new year.
Keep visiting www.abc.net.au/reface to stay upto date.

Massive thanks to all the artists who have come in so far, the car park is looking amazing! We are well on the way to creating a magnificent space.
Melbourne artist ‘Reka One’ (www.rekaone.com) was in town for the opening of his solo show at Wasteland and managed to find time to come in and paint alongside ‘Kid Zoom’ and ‘Troll’. Thanks guys!
We currently have about 30 artists either finished or still working with another 20 or so still to begin. I won’t begin name dropping just yet, but the line-up is spectacular.
Go Perth!

Thankyou everyone for registering.
Submissions are now closed.
We have had an overwhelming response with over 60 artists of various specialties voicing interest. We will now mark out territories and consider our intentions.
If you registered your interest with us you should now have been sent instructions on the next phase of development.
Keep an eye on the project page to see photos of the work in progress.

So we’ve got this carpark to paint see. And it’s a large carpark, well… a 5 stories high carpark. We’d like some help to spray paint this thing, contact carpark@ololo.info for more information.
Check out the work in progress.
